Technology for
everyone
We're a disability-owned IT company on a mission to make technology accessible, understandable, and empowering for small businesses and nonprofits in the Pittsburgh area and beyond.
Nick Sinagra
CEO & Founder
With over 30 years of experience in technology, Nick founded Able IT Pros to bridge the gap between complex technology and the businesses that need it most. As a disability-owned business owner, he brings a unique perspective on accessibility, patience, and the power of meeting people where they are.
Built on the belief that ability takes many forms
Able IT Pros was founded on a simple idea: that great technology support shouldn't require a computer science degree to understand. Too many small businesses and nonprofits are underserved by an IT industry that speaks in jargon, overcomplicates solutions, and makes people feel lesser for asking basic questions. We set out to change that.
As a disability-owned business, we bring a unique perspective to the tech industry. We know firsthand what it means to navigate a world that wasn't always designed with you in mind. That experience shapes everything we do — from building accessible websites to explaining a network issue with patience rather than condescension. We believe that understanding barriers is the first step to breaking them down.
Based in Pittsburgh, PA, we serve small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that need reliable, human-centered technology support. Whether it's fixing a printer that won't cooperate, building a custom app, or developing a cybersecurity strategy, our team meets you where you are and speaks your language — every time.
What Defines Us
We're proud to be a certified disability-owned business. Our lived experience with accessibility informs every service we provide and every interaction we have.
No jargon, no judgment. We explain technology in terms that make sense and never make you feel silly for asking a question. If we can't explain it simply, we don't understand it well enough.
We don't treat accessibility as an afterthought. From the websites we build to the advice we give, we champion inclusive design and digital equity for everyone.
We're rooted in Pittsburgh and committed to helping local small businesses and nonprofits thrive. When our community succeeds, we all succeed.
The principles that guide our work
Everything we do is built on these core beliefs. They're not just words on a page — they show up in every support call, every project, and every recommendation we make.
Patience Over Pressure
We take the time to listen, understand your needs, and explain things at your pace. There's no clock ticking and no pressure to upgrade to something you don't need. We're here when you need us.
Honesty Over Hype
We'll tell you what you actually need, not what makes us the most money. If the solution is simple and free, we'll say so. Trust is earned one honest recommendation at a time.
Inclusion Over Exclusion
Technology should work for everyone. As a disability-owned company, we're deeply committed to building digital experiences that are accessible and welcoming to all users, regardless of ability.
Relationships Over Transactions
We're not a faceless help desk. We get to know your business, your team, and your goals. When you call, you reach someone who already understands your setup and genuinely cares about getting it right.
Our name says it all — Able
The name "Able IT Pros" isn't just a brand — it's a statement. We chose it because we believe that disability doesn't define what someone can achieve. It simply means finding different paths to the same destination.
That philosophy extends to how we serve our clients. Many of the small businesses and nonprofits we work with have been told that technology is "too complicated" or "not for them." We reject that entirely. With the right support and the right approach, every organization can harness technology to grow, compete, and make an impact.
We're proud to be a certified disability-owned business enterprise (DOBE), and we actively support supplier diversity programs. If your organization values inclusive procurement, we'd love to be part of the conversation.
