When I started Able IT Pros in 2013, my only goal was to offer expert technology services for small businesses and non-profit organizations. My vision was to serve our clients as trusted allies, providing them with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside partner. I wanted to develop business relationships with multiple vendors, so we could come up with the most efficient solution for each client. Unlike larger technology companies, I wanted to develop personal relationships with our clients and provide quality technology solutions based on each individual need. I maintain these goals and this vision to this day.
However, over the years, I also realized another responsibility that I have – to the disability community. As you can see, I have a disability, a neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Based on my own personal experiences and unique expertise in the crossroads of technology and experiencing life with a disability, I have added accessibility services to our offerings. Furthermore, I am proud to provide employment opportunities to qualified, highly motivated technologists with disabilities.
I know there is a question out there that is on everyone’s mind. “Can a team led by and comprised of mostly people with disabilities handle my technology needs?” The answer is very simple… yes! My work experience goes back almost 20 years and includes successful positions at the Pittsburgh Penguins, Duquesne University, Bishop Canevin High School and pathVu. But my experience as a technologist goes back 30+ years when I learned how to program on my good ol’ Apple IIc computer. The best part about my team – they are all life-long technologists, just like me!
I look forward to working with you and helping with all your technology needs!
